- Collection and processing of personal data:
On the one hand, your personal data is disclosed as part of your registration and when specific contracts are concluded/orders are placed and, on the other hand, we collect information that is automatically transmitted by your computer to the page you are visiting as a result of your visit to our website. - Cookies:
When you visit our website, “cookies” are stored on your end device. These are small text files that store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. A cookie contains the name of the domain from which the cookie data was sent, as well as information about the age of the cookie and a cookie ID. Cookies help us to improve our website and offer you optimized services.
The session cookies we use only temporarily store the above-mentioned data about your use of the website. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser or leave the website.
We also use persistent cookies, which are stored on your computer until you delete them manually. Such cookies enable us to recognize your end device with which you have already visited our website and a non-personal analysis of the use of our website.

You can also block cookies completely or delete them again if they have already been saved on your computer. If you want to find out more about this, call up the “Help” function in your browser.
Please note that restricting cookies may impair the use of our website.
- Integration of third-party technologies:
Third-party technologies, services or libraries are integrated into our websites, in particular from jQuery.com, Google, Twitter or YouTube, in order to optimize the user experience, improve loading speeds and page display or to display special media content such as videos.
This involves accessing the resources of these providers from external servers (and thus also the transmission of data such as the IP address), which may be located outside the European Union. We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes and the storage periods. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by these third parties can be found in the respective privacy policies of these providers. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy
- Web analysis:
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” as described under 1.2. We process your data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in creating easy-to-use website access statistics in a cost-efficient manner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including IP address and URLs of the websites accessed) is transferred to servers in the USA and stored there. We do not store any of your data that is collected in connection with Google Analytics.
This website uses the IP anonymization option offered by Google Analytics. Your IP address will therefore be shortened/anonymized by Google as soon as Google receives your IP address. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data by Google.
You can prevent the storage of analysis cookies by setting your browser accordingly. We would like to point out that in this case the full content of the website may be impaired. You can also use the following link to download and install a browser plugin that prevents Google from collecting your data in connection with Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
You can also prevent the collection of your data by clicking on the link below, which sets an opt-out cookie that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit our website:

- Facebook social plugins
Our online offering uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the terms “Like”, “Gefällt mir” or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When a user accesses a function of this online offering that contains such a plugin, their device establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to the user’s device and integrated into the online offering. User profiles can be created from the processed data. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform users according to our level of knowledge.
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the online offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your device to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out their IP address and store it. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook’s data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them via this online service and link it to their membership data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook and delete their cookies before using our online service. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
- Facebook Remarketing
Within our online offer, so-called “Facebook pixels” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), are used. With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors to our website as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called “Facebook ads”. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our website. This means that with the help of the Facebook pixel, we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not annoying. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users have been redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.
The Facebook pixel is integrated directly by Facebook when you visit our website and can store a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our website will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The data is processed by Facebook in accordance with Facebook’s data usage policy. Accordingly, you can find more information on how the remarketing pixel works and how Facebook ads are displayed in general in Facebook’s data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data to display Facebook ads. To do this, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare your objection via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
